Nix, McCorvey will not return in 2017

Search for replacements begin immediately
MURFREESBORO – Head coach Rick Stockstill announced Wednesday that Tyrone Nix will not return as Middle Tennessee's defensive coordinator in 2017 and Kez McCorvey will not be back to coach the wide receivers.
Nix joined Stockstill'staff in 2012 after serving as defensive coordinator at Ole Miss for four seasons, while McCorvey just completed his first year in Murfreesboro.
"I am very appreciative to Tyrone and his family for everything they have contributed to our football program, this University and the entire community," added Stockstill. "I am also grateful to Kez and his family for the time and effort spent on helping make our program better. I want to wish them both the best in their future coaching endeavors."
A search for replacements will begin immediately.
