Lady Raiders Travel to Charlotte on Sunday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team is set to travel to Charlotte this weekend for its final road contest of regular season play.
The Lady Raiders (16-11, 8-6) head to North Carolina after a 65-58 setback to UAB on Thursday afternoon. Charlotte (12-13, 8-4) is currently on a five game winning streak and are set to play Western Kentucky in Bowling Green on Friday before hosting the Lady Raiders on Sunday.
Last Time They Met
The Lady Raiders and the 49ers last met in Murfreesboro earlier this season and Middle Tennessee captured a 64-45 victory over Charlotte.
Junior forward Alex Johnson paced the Middle Tennessee scoring over Charlotte, recording 18 points. Johnson hit 7-of-12 from the field over the 49ers while adding seven rebounds. Likewise, junior Jess Louro added 14 points and nine rebounds.

Middle Tennesse leads the all-time series over the Charlotte 49ers, 5-0.
