Raiders to host Indiana in Friday night showdown

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's tennis enters the weekend with an 8-1 record as they host Indiana at the Adams Tennis Complex, with doubles starting at 6 p.m.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a week in which Tom Moonen and Chris Edge cracked the ITA rankings for the first time as a doubles pair, notching a ranking of No. 48 nationally. Last weekend, MT swept George Washington and took down St. John's, 5-2.
Indiana (4-3) is 0-2 in true road matches entering the showdown with the Blue Raiders, including a 5-2 loss at Memphis and a 6-1 decision at No. 5 USC. Keivon Tabrizi and Bennett Crane have combined for a 5-1 record at the No. 3 spot in the lineup, and three Hoosiers combined for a 6-1 mark at No. 6.
In doubles action, the Hoosiers are 9-8 as a team, compared to MT's 16-2 mark through nine matches. The Blue Raiders will also stack up well with the Hoosiers in the bottom half of the singles lineup, as MT is a combined 25-2 from No. 4, 5 and 6 entering Friday night's match.
