Lady Raiders Honor Seniors on Saturday Afternoon

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team concludes its home regular schedule on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. for its senior night against Old Dominion.
The Lady Raiders (17-11, 9-6) enter the contest coming off a thrilling 54-53 victory over Charlotte while the Monarchs (8-21, 6-9) travel to Murfreesboro after a 51-43 setback to Charlotte.
The Seniors Class
Middle Tennessee will honor seniors Abbey Sissom, Gabby Lyon and Rebecca Reuter following Saturday's game for all their accomplishments with the team.
The senior class will leave their legacy on the Middle Tennessee program as they rank among the top Lady Raiders. Sissom sits sixth on the career-field goal percentage list with a .364 clip.
Likewise, Lyon and Reuter are two of 28 players in the program history with 500-plus rebounds and 500-plus points.
Johnson among Top-20 in All-Time Scoring
After another stellar Alex Johnson outing on Sunday, the 6-foot-0 forward eclipsed the top-20 all-time scoring list to sit 19th with 1,293 career points.
Since returning from injury, Johnson has averaged 14.7 points and led the teams scoring in seven of her last 11 outings. Likewise, the Murfreesboro product has scored double figures in eight of the last 10 contests.
Scouting Old Dominion (8-21, 6-9)
Freshman Victoria Morris paces the Monarchs offense, tallying 11.3 points per game this season. The 5-foot-8 guard has also picked up 71 rebounds and 39 assists for the Monarchs.
On the defensive end, sophomore Taylor Edwards leads the team on the glass, averaging 6.1 rebounds per game.
