Exciting theme nights highlight Men's Hoops homestand

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Men's Basketball is back in action this week with two big Conference USA home games inside Murphy Center.
The Blue Raiders tip off Thursday against UTSA at 6:30 p.m. for the annual Student Appreciation Night game, which will double as Mardi Gras Night.
MT Engage will have giveaways for both students and fans, and the Blue Raider Baseball team will sign autographs on the main concourse prior to the game. The 2019 Blue Raider Mardi Gras Parade will take place at halftime.
On Saturday, Jan. 19, your Blue Raiders will tip off against UTEP at 5:00 p.m. Saturday's theme is Super Hero Night and fans are invited to dress up as their favorite superhero. The first 400 students and fans under 12 to arrive will receive a Middle Tennessee Superhero cape.
Blue Raider Kid's Club members should arrive early to take advantage of the inflatables and face painting before the games starts.
Head Coach Nick McDevitt and his staff also encourage fans to wear sneakers on Saturday in support of Coaches vs. Cancer. Tweet a picture with your tennis shoes on Saturday using #CoachesvsCancer and tag @MT_Promotions. One lucky fan who uses #CoachesvsCancer will be chosen to receive a Blue Raider prize pack.
