Military and Veterans Appreciation Night upcoming

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Men's Basketball wraps up their first month of conference play at home on Wednesday, Jan. 30 against UAB and will host its first annual Blue Raider Military and Veterans Appreciation Night that evening in Murphy Center.
The Blue Raider Ticket Office is offering a complimentary ticket to all active military and veterans with a military ID. To receive your complimentary ticket, simply show your military ID at the Murphy Center Ticket Office on the day of the game. The ticket office will open at 4:30 p.m. while tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m.
Make sure you are in your seats for pregame events as you will not want to miss seeing members of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell repelling into the Murphy Center to deliver the game ball.
During the game, there will be a POW seat dedication in remembrance of our soldiers missing in action. Two MTSU students will be awarded an Army ROTC scholarship that evening while four more students will be officially be sworn into the United States Army at halftime.
