MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Lady Raiders host Rice in the Murphy Center on Thursday, January 23 at 6:30 p.m. The Blue Raiders (15-4, 6-0) are coming off a dominant 79-49 victory over UTEP while the Owls enter the matchup coming off a 64-52 win against North Texas.
Middle Tennessee and Rice enter Thursday night's contest both undefeated in Conference USA play as the Owls have won seven-straight contests while the Blue Raiders have notched six-straight victories.
The game will be a rematch from last year's C-USA quarterfinals contest, as the Lady Raiders fell to Rice for the first time in the team's history.

With the weather getting cold, stay comfy at the Lady Raider's contest on Thursday by participating in Pajama Night!
The first 250 Middle Tennessee students in attendance will receive a free MT travel blanket and all students will receive free popcorn with their student ID at the concessions.
Hayes Dominating in C-USA Play
Last time out, A'Queen Hayes led Middle Tennessee as she supplied her fifth double-double of the season for the Blue Raiders. Hayes knocked down 18 points and obtained 13 rebounds over UTEP.
The Horn Lake, Miss. native is the only player in the conference who leads their team in points, rebounds and assists. Respectively, Hayes has earned two Conference Player of the Week honors.
