MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's basketball team returns to the Murphy Center on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. to play host to North Texas, following a challenging game last Thursday against Rice.
Kids Club Day with the Lady Raiders
All Blue Raider Kid's Club members should bring their game day voucher for free admission to the game. Blue Raider Kid's Club members should arrive early to take advantage of the inflatables and face painting before the games starts.
All Blue Raider Kids Club members that would like to participate in the pregame high five tunnel to welcome the Lady Raiders on the court, meet at the tunnel of G & H no later than 4:30 pm.
Tale of the Tape: Middle Tennessee and North Texas
Thursday's contest will mark the 25th meeting between the Blue Raiders and the Mean Green, with Middle Tennessee leading the all-time series, 20-4. The Lady Raiders have continued to show their dominance over North Texas, winning the last 15 games over the Mean Green.
Last time out, the Lady Raiders clinched a 56-48 victory over North Texas in the Murphy Center. Sophomore Anna Jones knocked down a team-high 15 points in the contest, shooting 6-of-9 from the field and 3-of-5 from distance. Similarly, senior Jess Louro produced a standout outing during the teams' last meeting, contributing 14 points and six rebounds in the contest.
