Hammill, Tankesley Earn C-USA All-Academic Honors

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Seniors Taylor Hammill and Bri Tankesley were named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team Tuesday morning for their outstanding performances both on the court and in the classroom.
Tankesley is the libero for the Middle Tennessee volleyball team who tallied her 1,000th career dig with the Blue Raiders earlier this season. She ranks at No. 5 for total digs in the league and No. 7 for her average 3.68 digs per set. Tankesley is an exercise science major with a 3.976 grade point average, and this is her second time earning All-Academic Team honors.
Hammill is the team's starting setter who has the second most assists in C-USA with a total 1,066 and stands at No. 4 with an average 9.87 assists per set. Hammill also dished out her 2,000th career assist as a Blue Raider earlier this season. She earned a 3.726 as a mechatronics engineering major, and this is also her second time receiving All-Academic Team honors.
