Myrtle Beach Invitational starts with No. 17 Villanova

CONWAY, S.C. — After suffering its first loss of the season on Monday night, Middle Tennessee now turns its attention to the first game of the Myrtle Beach Invitational, where they have a chance to match last year's road wins total.

About the Blue Raiders
» Antonio Green is second in Conference USA in points per game with 25.3 with a conference-leading 18 3-pointers made. Green is 14th in the country in points per game.
» Green and C.J. Jones have combined for 43.5 points per game, making them the fourth-highest scoring duo in the country.
» After winning at Lipscomb on Nov. 9, MT is just one road win shy of matching its total from last year. The Blue Raiders were 2-16 in all games away from home last season.

» Villanova uses size to its advantage, as forwards Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Saddiq Bey both average 14.3 points. Robinson-Earl also leads the team with 10.0 rebounds per game.
» Mississippi State is led by 6-foot-10 forward Reggie Perry averaging 12.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, while Tulane's Teshaun Hightower leads the Green Wave with 19.3 points per game.
» Ohio (3-1) takes on Baylor (2-1), and Utah (3-0) will play Coastal Carolina (2-2) to open play on the other side of the bracket.
» Ohio's only loss came at Villanova, while Baylor's only loss was a 67-64 result against Washington.
