CONWAY, S.C. — After suffering its first loss of the season on Monday night, Middle Tennessee now turns its attention to the first game of the Myrtle Beach Invitational, where they have a chance to match last year's road wins total.

About the Blue Raiders
» Antonio Green is second in Conference USA in points per game with 25.3 with a conference-leading 18 3-pointers made. Green is 14th in the country in points per game.
» Green and C.J. Jones have combined for 43.5 points per game, making them the fourth-highest scoring duo in the country.
» After winning at Lipscomb on Nov. 9, MT is just one road win shy of matching its total from last year. The Blue Raiders were 2-16 in all games away from home last season.
» Donovan Sims, Jayce Johnson, C.J. Jones and Antonio Green have started all four games in the new season. Freshman Tyson Jackson has started the last two games.
» The fast-paced MT offense is leading to more points, as the Blue Raiders have averaged 90.3 points, second-most in C-USA and 13th in the country.

Scouting the Myrtle Beach Invitational
» Just two years removed from a national championship, Villanova is expected by most to win games in the NCAA Tournament again this season.
» Villanova uses size to its advantage, as forwards Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Saddiq Bey both average 14.3 points. Robinson-Earl also leads the team with 10.0 rebounds per game.
» Mississippi State is led by 6-foot-10 forward Reggie Perry averaging 12.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, while Tulane's Teshaun Hightower leads the Green Wave with 19.3 points per game.
» Ohio (3-1) takes on Baylor (2-1), and Utah (3-0) will play Coastal Carolina (2-2) to open play on the other side of the bracket.
» Ohio's only loss came at Villanova, while Baylor's only loss was a 67-64 result against Washington.
» Utah boasts close wins over Nevada and Minnesota, and Coastal Carolina will look to continue its momentum after winning over MT on Monday night.

All-Time vs. the Myrtle Beach Invitational
» Thursday's contest against Villanova will be the second in program history. The Wildcats won the first ever meeting by a score of 81-62 in 2004.
» MT is 0-1 all-time against Mississippi State (1978) but 1-0 all-time against Tulane (2014).
» The other side of the bracket includes Ohio (0-2), Baylor (0-0), Utah (0-0), and Coastal Carolina (0-1).
» Head Coach Nick McDevitt is 3-8 in his career against the Myrtle Beach Invitational field.

Last Time Out
» Eight of the nine active players were on the court for the vast majority of the game for Middle Tennessee in a 93-72 loss at Coastal Carolina.
» C.J. Jones scored the first 10 Blue Raider points, finishing with a team-high 21 on 8-13 from the floor.
» Antonio Green drilled a buzzer-beating shot from beyond half court heading into the locker room at halftime and finished with 18 points on 5-9 from 3-point range. Green also tied a career high with seven rebounds.
» The Chanticleers shot 16 more free throws than the Blue Raiders. MT finished the game with two players having four fouls and three more committing three fouls.
» Eli Lawrence followed up his first career double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds in 24 minutes played.

Next Time Out
» MT will return to Murfreesboro and host Belmont on Nov. 30.
