MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – With the holiday season right around the corner, Middle Tennessee Athletics is partnering up with the Middle Tennessee Baptist College Ministry to donate to Operation Christmas Child this year. Donations will be collected prior to tip-off at the Men's Basketball Game vs. Mars Hill on Nov. 13 which is set for a 6:30 p.m. start time.
Operation Christmas Child is an initiative to provide less fortunate kids around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies. The BCM will have a table set up at the game where fans can donate items to go in the shoeboxes or bring shoeboxes pre-packed with items.
Ideal items include hair ties, toothbrushes, brushes, small toys that can fit in the boxes, etc. Click the link below to see what items are preferred and what items are not allowed.
If you have any questions, contact Rachel Fullerton in the Middle Tennessee Athletic Marketing department at Rachel.fullerton@mtsu.edu.
