Murfreesboro, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team will return to the Murphy Center tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. to take on VCU. The Lady Raiders look to bounce back after falling to Belmont on the road 57-68.

About the Lady Raiders

Charity Savage is tied for 17^th in the country and ranks at the top of C-USA in rebounds per game with 11.0.
Anastasia Hayes is currently fourth in C-USA in scoring with 17.1 points per game. Hayes is not far off the top spot and trails the leading Dee Givens from WKU with 17.4 points per game.
Taylor Sutton is third in C-USA with a 39.5 three point percentage. The guard has already hit 30 through the first 10 games of the season.

Scouting the Rams

VCU has loaded up on foreign talent. The Rams' roster includes Kseniya Malashka from Belarus, Olga Petrova and Sofya Pashigoreva from Russia, and high scoring Tera Reed from New Zealand.
The Rams are 1-1 against C-USA teams this season with a 39-51 loss to Southern Miss and a 62-49 win over Old Dominion.
Despite turning the ball over 22 times in their last game against ODU, the Rams cruised to a 13 point win over the Monarchs by hanging up 21 points in the fourth quarter.

All-Time vs. VCU

This will be the first match up between the Lady Raiders and the Rams.

Last Time Out

In their last match, the Lady Raiders fell to Belmont 57-68. MT came within three points of the Bruins at the half, but couldn't overcome Belmont in the second half.
Anastasia Hayes led all Raiders in scoring with 18 points. Hayes has scored in double figures in every game of her Lady Raider career.
Kiya Turner made an impact off the bench, coming in and scoring five quick points in the second half.

Next Time Out

MT will return to action after the holidays on Sunday Dec. 29 when TCU comes to Murfreesboro. Tip against the Horn Frogs is set for 1:00 PM.
