MT will face Trevecca Friday at 5:30 PM
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee women's soccer team will conclude its spring season with its final home match Friday, April 12, and then a 5v5 Alumni Tournament Saturday, April 13, to cap a successful spring campaign, at Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium.
"The Alumni weekend is something I look forward to every year. It provides an opportunity for current players to meet and network with former players who they may have read or heard about," said Head Coach Aston Rhoden.
The fun-filled weekend will begin Friday when the Blue Raiders face Trevecca in their final spring home game at 5:30 p.m. Then, on Saturday, the 5v5 Alumni Tournament will kick off at 1:30 p.m.
"It's also a chance for alums to once again play with their former teammates in a fun environment against other alums," said Rhoden. "Additionally, it's always fun seeing everyone's amazement at the progress we've made as a program and the continued growth of our university."
With their first 10-win season since 2015, the Blue Raiders have their eyes set on improving from the successful run of 2018. They are hungry and ready to work.
"I cannot begin to thank them all of our Alums for the work they did to establish a solid foundation for our program."
Admission is free for anyone in attendance. Come out and enjoy the 5v5 alumni tournament.
