Volleyball Set to Host Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Home Opener

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.—The Middle Tennessee volleyball team is at home for the first time this season, hosting Arkansas-Pine Bluff Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Gym. The Blue Raiders are 4-7 on the season.
Scouting the Opposition
The Golden Lions are 0-11 on the season after most recently falling to Tennessee State on Friday in four sets by scores of 25-13, 16-25, 17-25, 17-25. One player to watch is middle blocker/outside hitter Haley Gomez who tallied 12 kills against Tennessee State. The team had seven aces in the match compared to TSU's four aces.
