Home opener for the Lady Raiders

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team will open the home 2020 schedule Saturday with a standalone match against Tennessee State. The match with the Lady Tigers is slated for a 4 p.m. start and will be played at the Adams Tennis Complex. All home tennis matches offer free admission and free parking.

Here come the Blue Raiders

Middle Tennessee's roster features two seniors (Marta Peris Herrero and Lidia Burrows), two juniors (Lee Barnard and Zani Barnard) and four freshmen (Love-Star Alexis, Muskan Gupta, Zoe Klapman and Noelle Mauro).
The past decade, the Blue Raiders are 59-24 in home matches.
Head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall enters her second season with the Blue Raiders.
The Raiders finished 11-13 overall and 2-3 in Conference USA, reaching the tournament quarterfinals before falling to C-USA Champions Rice.
Burrows and Herrero lead the Blue Raiders with a combined over 100 career singles wins.
Freshman Love-Star Alexis led the Raiders with the most fall wins with seven, look for her to make an immediate impact this season.

Scouting the Tigers

The Raiders have not lost to TSU; they are a mere 15-0 when facing the Tigers.
