Lady Raiders Look to Bounce Back After Falling to Old Dominion

Murfreesboro, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team looks to bounce back against Charlotte after falling to Old Dominion 56-67. The Lady Raiders will tip against the 49ers at 5:00 PM on Jan. 4 in the Glass House.

- Charity Savage is currently ranks fourth in the country and ranks at the top of C-USA in rebounds per game with 12.3.
- Anastasia Hayes is currently second in C-USA in scoring with 17.0 points per game. Hayes is not far off the top spot and trails the leading Rachael Childress from UAB with 17.9 points per game.
- Taylor Sutton and Aislynn Hayes are currently third and fourth in C-USA for three point field goals per game. The guards averages 2.5 and 2.2 thus far this season.
- Charlotte is currently ranked second in C-USA behind Old Dominion.
- The 49ers defeated UAB in their conference opener 83-75 and extend their winning streak to four games.
- Jade Phillips leads the 49ers in scoring and rebounding with 16.2 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game.
- The Lady Raiders have never been beaten by the 49ers in seven meetings dating back to 2014.
- Last season MT defeated the conference foe 62-55.
- In their last match, the Lady Raiders fell to Old Dominion 56-67. MT led by 10-points at the half, but could not hold onto it, relinquishing the lead to the Monarch defense.
- Charity Savage continued her solid play by recording a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Savages has collected double digit rebounds in 12 of the Lady Raiders' 14 games.
- Anastasia Hayes led all scorers with 18 points and accounted for two steals on the defensive end as well.
- After the match up with Charlotte, the Lady Raiders will begin on a two game road swing starting with Marshall on Jan. 9 at 5:00 PM.
