Lady Raiders Continue C-USA Action at Home Against UTSA

Murfreesboro, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team looks to continue its win streak after defeating UTEP Thursday evening. The Lady Raiders will take on UTSA Saturday at 5:00 PM in the Murphy Center.

About the Lady Raiders

Charity Savage continues to lead the conference with her 11.2 rebounds per game, placing her at ninth in the country. Savage has a total 236 rebounds on the season.
Anastasia Hayes ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with 17.0 points per game and also in assists, averaging 4.3 assists per game.
Sophomore Taylor Sutton sits at No. 2 in C-USA for her average 2.81 three-point field goals made per game and ranks tied for 25^th in the nation.

Scouting the Roadrunners

UTSA is 6-13 overall and 2-6 in C-USA after falling to UAB 55-94 Thursday.
The Roadrunners have three players averaging double figures. Mikayla Woods leads the team with 16.0 points per game, Adryana Quezada with 13.1 and Karrington Donald with 10.4.

This is the seventh meeting between the Lady Raiders and the Roadrunners. MT leads the series, 6-0.
HC Rick Insell's six-game win streak against UTSA began on Jan. 22, 2014 with a 60-41 victory at home.
The Lady Raiders defeated the Roadrunners 72-52 in their last meeting on Jan. 17, 2019 in San Antonio.

In their last outing, the Lady Raiders downed UTEP 76-60 at the Murphy Center.
The Lady Raiders were led offensively by Aislynn Hayes who scored a career-high 24 points in the victory. She also pulled six rebounds and dished a team-high four assists.
Four Lady Raiders were in double-digits in scoring, including Aislynn Hayes (24), Taylor Sutton (16), Anastasia Hayes (13) and Alexis Whittington (11).
