Blue Raiders Wrap Up Day One of Dale Short Shootout

MT collects 12 wins
MURFREESBORO, TN – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team concluded the first day of play at the Dale Short Shootout with 12 wins Friday at the Adams Tennis Complex Friday.
MT began its first of three scheduled fall events with doubles action as the Raiders clinched three of four matches. Freshman Andreas Kramer made his debut for the Blue Raiders by picking up a 6-4 win with junior partner Stijn Slump against Chattanooga's Simon Labbe and Turner Voges.
Kramer carried momentum into singles play with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Jeffrey Dewald of Chattanooga on court two. Sean Presson also picked up a win with a 6-3, 6-3 effort over Peyton Gatti of the Mocs.
Pavel Motl, Francisco Rocha and Patrick Kristensen added to the Blue Raider win column with straight set wins on courts four, seven and eight.
Tom Moonen, Oskar Michalek and Max Rauch each battled through tight three-set matches to earn victories.
The Raiders return to action on Saturday morning vs Troy with doubles matches starting at 10 a.m.
