Lady Raiders Face Lipscomb to Close Out Non-Conference Play

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team plays its final non-conference game of the regular season on Sunday afternoon when it hosts Lipscomb at Murphy Center.

About the Lady Raiders
- Middle Tennessee downed Lipscomb, 92-76, Thursday evening. Junior guard Anastasia Hayes led the Lady Raider attack, posting 29 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds. Deja Cage went 7-14 from three-point range while scoring a career-high 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
- The Lady Raiders 17 3-pointers vs. Troy tied for fourth-most in program history and were just three shy of the school record. The last time the Lady Raiders connected for 13 treys was Feb. 28, 2013, against Troy.
- Anastasia Hayes has registered double-doubles in consecutive games vs. TCU and Troy, giving her seven for her career.
- Whitson has started strong on the boards in her sophomore campaign with double figures in three of four games. She ripped down a career-high 16 rebounds vs. Troy and added 11 rebounds each against Belmont and Tulane.

- Taylor Clark was a unanimous choice for the ASUN All-Preseason Team. She is the first Lady Bison to earn a preseason all-conference honor since 2017.
- Sophomore Jalyn Holcomb was the ASUN Freshman of the Year last season, becoming the first player in program history to earn the honor.
