MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team returns home for two matches this weekend. The Lady Raiders will take on Cincinnati Friday and ETSU on Sunday at the Adams Tennis Complex. Free parking and free admission for both matches.
The student athletes will be wearing green shoelaces to show support for fellow student athletes, peers, and community members in pursuit of mental wellness. Conference USA encourages all to stand up to the stigma and continue the conversation.

Here come the Blue Raiders
- Middle Tennessee's roster features two seniors (Marta Peris Herrero and Lidia Burrows), two juniors (Lee Barnard and Zani Barnard) and four freshmen (Love-Star Alexis, Muskan Gupta, Zoe Klapman and Noelle Mauro).
- The past decade, the Blue Raiders are 60-25 in home matches and 41-58 in away matches.
- Head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall enters her second season with the Blue Raiders.
- The Raiders finished 11-13 overall and 2-3 in Conference USA, reaching the tournament quarterfinals before falling to C-USA Champions Rice.
- Burrows and Herrero lead the Blue Raiders with a combined over 100 career singles wins.
- Freshman Love-Star Alexis led the Raiders with the most fall wins with seven, look for her to make an immediate impact this season.
- MT moved to 16-0 over Tennessee State.
- Last week, the Raiders comeback fell short against Marshall, 4-3.

Scouting the Bearcats
- The Blue Raiders lead the series 3-0.
- Last year was the first time the two have seen each other since 1988, Middle Tennessee knocked off the Bearcats 4-3.
- Cincinnati is 5-2 overall and 2-1 away. They have defeated Army, Akron, Dayton, IUPUI and Western Michigan.
- The Bearcats finished 2019 with a 12-11 record.

Scouting the Bucs
- This will be the 16th meeting between the Bucs and the Blue Raiders. Blue Raiders lead the series, 11-4.
- MT snapped a three-match skid with ETSU last year with a 4-2 victory.
- Overall, the Bucs are 2-3 with wins over Georgia State and Davidson. The losses came from No. 8 NC State, Virginia Tech and VCU.
