MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — In the last game before Conference USA Bonus Play, Middle Tennessee will be looking to head into the final push for an entry into the C-USA Championship with momentum.

» Middle Tennessee dropped its third straight game with Wednesday's loss at UAB.
» Donovan Sims has started all 26 games of the 2019-20 season.
» The recent emphasis on offensive boards has paid off, as MT is third in C-USA in rebounds on the offensive end.
» Jones has been MT's offensive leader, as he's fourth in C-USA in points per game (16.5) and fifth in minutes per game (34:27).
» Senior forward Reggie Scurry leads his team in rebounds (5.1 per game) and field goal percentage (62.3%).

» UAB is just one of three C-USA programs that have a winning record over MT all-time.

» The Blazers boasted one of C-USA's toughest non-conference schedules, losing by 11 or less to No. 9 Kentucky, (RV) Texas and No. 15 Memphis in consecutive games.
» Most recently, the Blazers suffered the same fate MT did last week: losses at home to North Texas and Rice.
» UAB's top team statistic is rebound margin. The 6.4 mark is best in C-USA and 28th best in the country.
» Individually, 5-foot-10 freshman guard Jalen Benjamin is the only Blazer in the top 10 in any C-USA statistic. Benjamin is third in C-USA in free-throw percentage (85.9%).
» 6-foot-4 guard Tavin Lovan is the second leading scorer for the Blazers with 11.6 points per game to go with 4.5 rebounds per game.

Last Time Out
» The Blue Raiders led for all of the first half, but UAB seized control in the second half and kept it for an 83-72 win.
