Lady Raiders Hit the Road to Birmingham

Murfreesboro, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team is headed to Birmingham, Ala. for a rematch of the 2019 Conference USA semifinals against UAB. The Lady Raiders will face the Blazers Saturday afternoon in Bartow Arena.

Charity Savage leads the conference in rebounding with 264 total rebounds and 11.0 rebounds per game. Her total rebounds ranks fourth in the country and her average per game ranks 10^th.
Anastasia Hayes holds the No. 2 spot in C-USA for her 17.7 points per game, which also ranks 53^rd in the country.

The game is a rematch of the 2019 C-USA semifinals when the Lady Raiders defeated the Blazers, 75-65.
HC Rick Insell is 10-5 against UAB and MT is 5-4 vs. UAB at Bartow Arena.

Last Time Out

The Lady Raiders dropped the contest with Rice Saturday evening 77-60 in Houston, Texas.
Rellah Boothe made her second appearance as a Lady Raider and responded with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting and six rebounds. Boothe's 3-pointer in the third quarter helped MT cut the 16-point deficit down to four.
Anastasia Hayes led the Lady Raiders with 16 points and six assists, and she added four rebounds and two steals.

The Lady Raiders will return home to face UAB once again Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CST at the Murphy Center.
