» The Blue Raiders opened the game with three home runs in the first inning, hit by Jocelynn De La Cruz, Lani Rodriguez and Kaylee Richetto.
» Mercer then reeled off three in the third, one in the fourth, and four more in the fifth.
» The Bears then added two more runs in the sixth to extend their lead to five runs.
» Kelci Hill's one-out single in the top of the seventh scored Summer Burgess to spark a comeback attempt, but it was short-lived, as a double play ended the game in the next at bat.
» Juliana Lane and Gracie Kirby both made their Blue Raider debuts on Sunday.
» Burgess had her best game of the season on Sunday, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored.
» Richetto also turned in a solid day at the plate. The freshmen went 2-for-3 including her second career homer.
» Keely McGee and Hill, both 2-for-4, were the only other Blue Raiders to finish the day with multiple hits.
