Lady Raiders Host Southern Miss this Weekend

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team returns home to Murphy Center as they host Southern Miss this weekend.
Middle Tennessee's Friday and Saturday matchup with Southern Miss can be seen on CUSA.tv. Also, fans are encouraged to tune into the following radio stations to hear the broadcast by Dick Palmer and Duane Hickey WGNS 1450 AM/100.5 FM/101.9 FM/TuneIn App.

About the Lady Raiders
- Middle Tennessee earned the two-game sweep over FIU with a 99-89 decision in its last outing. Sophomore Courtney Whitson led the team with a career-high 20 points, career-high six three-pointers, and her second career double-double. Sophomore guard Aislynn Hayes scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed five rebounds, and dished out five assists in the winning effort.
- Anastasia Hayes leads the nation in scoring averaging 28.6 points per game. She has scored at least 25 points in every game except for one this season.
- Courtney Whitson has been aggressive on the boards so far this season. She has collected double-digit rebounds five times and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds against Florida Atlantic on Jan. 1. She ranks fourth in the conference in rebounds per game, averaging 9.9.
- Alexis Whittington earned her third career double-double last Saturday in the Lady Raiders 99-89 win over FIU.
- The Lady Raiders have been on fire from three-point range this season as they rank 12th in the nation in three-point field goals per game. Deja Cage leads the team with 24 made three-pointers.
