Lady Raiders Take on UAB

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team is going to take on UAB in a home and home series this week.
Middle Tennessee's Thursday and Saturday matchup with UAB can be seen on ESPN+. Also, fans are encouraged to tune into the following radio stations to hear the broadcast by Dick Palmer and Duane Hickey WGNS 1450 AM/100.5 FM/101.9 FM/TuneIn App.

- Middle Tennessee won its fourth consecutive road game with a 77-60 win at rival WKU on Saturday night. The Lady Raiders closed the game with a 14-6 run. Anastasia Hayes led the charge with 20 points on 10-of-16 shooting.
- Aislynn Hayes was outstanding against the Toppers on Saturday with 15 points, a career-high eight assists, seven rebounds, and two steals.
- Anastasia Hayes has scored 20-plus points in every game this season and 17 straight, dating back to last season.
- Senior guard Deja Cage is third in C-USA and ranks 21st in the NCAA with 35 made three-pointers. The Chicago, Ill., native has knocked down three or more three-pointers in six games this season.
- Courtney Whiston has been aggressive on the boards this season. She has collected double-digit rebounds five times and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds against Florida Atlantic on Jan. 1. She ranks sixth in the conference in rebounds per game, averaging 8.9.
- Alexis Whittington has started every game this season and has been a front-line performer for the Lady Raiders. She is averaging 9.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
