Last Time Out

The 49ers found success first as Piper Biziorek got things going in the 53rd minute to put Charlotte on top first, 1-0.
Less than a minute later, DePriest drew a 49ers foul inside the penalty box to secure a penalty kick attempt, that she netted with ease to even the contest at one with a little less than 40 minutes to play.
Middle Tennessee continued to outshoot the 49ers, 7-5, including a 3-1 advantage in shots on target, but the 49ers keeper kept things out of the net over the final 30 minutes of play to send the game into overtime locked at one.
No time was wasted in overtime as DePriest delivered a ball to Slavinksy that after her first attempt was blocked, she knocked a rocket from about 28 yards out over the 49ers keeper and into the top right side of the net to secure the 2-1 Blue Raider victory.
