MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's tennis head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall announced the 2022 Spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

The Blue Raiders anticipate a 24-match Spring schedule after a successful Fall campaign that included stops in Indiana, Kentucky, and Florida. The Blue Raiders were also able to get a glimpse at hosting tournaments at home during that stretch. At the conclusion of the regular season, MT is set to host the 2022 Conference USA women's tennis championship at the Adams Tennis Complex April 21-24.

Middle Tennessee women's tennis will begin the 2022 season with five matches on the road, starting in Fort Myers, Florida to take on Florida Atlantic in the season-opener on January 15. The Blue Raiders will depart from the Sunshine State after they take on Georgia State on a neutral venue two days later.

The team will then return home to Murfreesboro to prepare to take on regional foes in Belmont and Vanderbilt on January 21 in Nashville, Tenn. The Blue Raiders will stay in the Volunteer State and travel down I-24 to play Chattanooga on Jan. 23.

After the road swing, Middle Tennessee returns to the ATC to play four out of their next five on our home courts. East Tennessee State will make their way to the 'Boro on Jan. 28, we will hit the road to take on Austin Peay on Jan. 30. Then the team will host three-straight home matches against IUPUI, UT Martin, and Alabama A&M to kick off the February slate of games.

Coach Duvall and company will travel to Denton, Texas to play two matches in two days against C-USA foes UTSA and North Texas on their home court.

Middle Tennessee returns home on Feb. 18 to take on Samford and Ball State before going on a nine-match road swing.

During the 44-day hiatus away from Murfreesboro, the team will make a stop in Ruston, Louisiana to take on Louisiana Tech and Grambling State. A trip up to the Windy City to take on Illinois at Chicago and DePaul from March 4-6. Three days later, the team will travel back to Louisiana with contests against South Florida and Tulane in New Orleans. A trip back up North to West Virginia with matches against the Thundering Herd and Cincinnati at the beginning of April. Concluding with a true-road match against rival Western Kentucky on April 9.

The Blue Raiders will return home to play their last regular-season home match against UAB on April 16. Five days later, Middle Tennessee will host the Conference USA women's tennis championship at the Adams Tennis Complex. The last time MT hosted a C-USA women's tennis tournament was in 2016, the Blue Raiders fell to FIU 4-0 in the quarterfinals.
