MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Although the calender says its baseball season, Mother Nature had other things in mind. The start to the Middle Tennessee baseball season will be pushed back a day due to inclement weather.
The Blue Raiders will still host the Oakland Golden Grizzlies for a four game series at Reese Smith Jr. Field, but instead the series will begin at 3 PM on Saturday, Feb. 20 instead of the originally scheduled start on Friday.
The series will continue on Sunday, Feb. 21 with a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games beginning at 1 PM. MT and Oakland will play their final game of series on Monday, Feb. 22 at 3:00 PM.
Saturday will mark the first meeting between the Golden Bears and the Blue Raiders.
