Blue Raiders Unveil 2026 Baseball Slate

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee baseball announced its 2026 spring schedule on Thursday, featuring 12 of the first 13 games at home.
The Blue Raiders will open the season at home on Friday, Feb. 13, against Bellarmine and will host the Knights throughout the weekend before welcoming Alabama A&M for the first midweek matchup of the year on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
The non-conference weekend slate includes visits from St. Bonaventure (Feb. 20-22) and Illinois State (Feb. 27-March 1), followed by the team's first road series trip of the season at UAB on March 6-8 before Conference USA play begins the following weekend.
To open CUSA action, Middle Tennessee will host Kennesaw State on March 13-15 before traveling to league newcomer Missouri State for a three-game series.
The Blue Raiders' conference schedule continues with New Mexico State (home, March 27-29), Jacksonville State (away, April 2-4), Louisiana Tech (away, April 10-12), Delaware (home, April 17-19), Sam Houston (away, April 24-26), Western Kentucky (home, May 1-3) and FIU (away, May 8-10), before wrapping up the regular season at home against Liberty on May 14-16.
MTSU will also play a home-and-home midweek series with Murray State, which reached the NCAA Men's College World Series last season. The Blue Raiders will additionally host in-state foe Memphis for the first time since March 11, 2020.
Middle Tennessee returns to Nashville for a matchup with Vanderbilt on Tuesday, April 28. The Blue Raiders upset the No. 9 Commodores last season, 5-3, and will aim for back-to-back wins for the first time since 2005-06.
MTSU went 4-1 against Nashville opponents (Vanderbilt, Lipscomb and Belmont) last season and will face each again in 2026.
Season tickets are now on sale for the 32 home games at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
