Lady Raiders Return Home to Face Old Dominion

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team returns to Murphy Center as they host Old Dominion this weekend.
Middle Tennessee's Friday and Saturday matchup can be seen on ESPN+. Also, fans are encouraged to tune into the following radio stations to hear the broadcast by Dick Palmer and Duane Hickey WGNS 1450 AM/100.5 FM/101.9 FM/TuneIn App.

About the Lady Raiders
- Last time out, Middle Tennessee dropped an 82-72 decision on the road against Charlotte on Feb. 6. The loss snapped a six-game road win streak.
- Anastasia Hayes is the only Division I WBB player in the nation to score 20-plus points in every game this season. Hayes has scored 20-plus points in 21 straight games dating back to last season. It is the longest such active streak in Division I WBB.
- Sophomore forward Courtney Whitson established career highs for points (22), field goals (8) and tied her career-high for 3-pointers (6) in Middle Tennessee's game at Charlotte on Feb. 6.
- The Lady Raiders have three players with impressive start streaks going. Courtney Whitson has started all 47 games of her career. Anastasia Hayes has started all 45 games at MT, and sister Aislynn Hayes has started 40 straight after coming off of the bench in the first three games of her career.
- When Middle Tennessee scores 70-plus under Head Coach Rick Insell, it is a staggering 248-19 for a 93 percent winning clip. Give the Lady Raiders 80 points or more, and they are nearly unbeatable under Insell with a 120-2 mark.

- Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion meet for the 11th time.
- The Lady Raiders lead the series, 6-4, including a 5-3 mark as C-USA members.
- Head coach Rick Insell is 6-4 against Old Dominion.

Scouting the Monarchs
- Old Dominion is 7-9 overall and 4-6 in C-USA under first-year HC Delisha Milton-Jones.
- The Monarchs have had four consecutive C-USA games canceled due to COVID-19. Once returning to the court, they are 2-4; however, they have had several near misses, dropping three OT contests.
- Old Dominion returns three starters from last year's team that posted a 24-6 record.
- The Monarchs are led by Victoria Morris (15.9 ppg), Amari Young (14.4 ppg, 10.8 rpg), and Ajah Wayne (14.0 ppg, 9.1 rpg).
