Lady Raiders Face Charlotte in Conference Road Test

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team returns to action Friday afternoon when it plays at Charlotte.
Middle Tennessee's Friday matchup can be seen on the Charlotte Athletics YouTube channel, and Saturday's matchup can be seen on ESPN+. Also, fans are encouraged to tune into the following radio stations to hear the broadcast by Dick Palmer and Duane Hickey WGNS 1450 AM/100.5 FM/101.9 FM/TuneIn App.

About the Lady Raiders
- Middle Tennessee won its sixth consecutive road game with a dominating 95-68 win over UAB on Saturday night at Murphy Center. Anastasia Hayes followed the career night with another good outing Saturday, scoring a game-high 35 points on 12-of-22 shooting and adding eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
- Anastasia Hayes produced one of the top performances in Conference USA and Lady Raider program history with 42 points in an 81-78 OT win at UAB last Thursday. The 42 points are the sixth-most in C-USA history for a league game and the seventh-most in Lady Raider history. The 42 points are also fifth-most in a Division I WBB game this season.
- The Lady Raiders has won eight straight C-USA road games dating back to last season. It is the longest road conference win streak since Feb. 21, 2008, to Feb. 11, 2009, when Middle Tennessee won nine straight.
- Four Lady Raider starters rank in the Top 7 of C-USA for minutes per game, and all four are Top 44 nationally. Alexis Whittington has been a workhorse, playing all 40 minutes in eight of 14 games.
- Middle Tennessee ranks fifth nationally for 3-point field goals per game (9.9) and seventh for 3-point field goals made with 149. The Lady Raiders have connected for 7-plus treys 11 times, and they have double-figure 3s in six games, including 17 vs. Troy

- Junior guard Jada McMillian leads Charlotte in scoring with 17.6 ppg. She poured in a career-high 31 points against UAB on Jan. 15.
