Blue Raiders Host Marshall at AMG this Weekend

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee volleyball team will return home this weekend for a two-match series with Marshall. Both Sunday and Monday's matches will begin at 1 pm CT, from Alumni Memorial Gym.
Match 8 & 9: Middle Tennessee (1-6, 1-2) vs. Marshall (5-3, 3-3)
- Sunday, Mar. 7, 2021 – 1:00 pm CT
- Monday, Mar. 8, 2021 – 1:00 pm CT

About the Blue Raiders
- Middle Tennessee dropped two hard-fought matches at Charlotte last weekend. The Blue Raiders lost both matches 3-1.
- Taylor Eisert recorded her second double-double of the season with 38 assists and a career-high 15 digs in Sunday's match versus Charlotte.
- Amelia Van Der Werff is currently third on the team with 71 kills averaging 2.37 per set. She ranks fourth in C-USA and 42nd nationally in hitting percentage with a .387 clip.
- Marley Banton currently leads the team with 96 digs. She has collected double-digit digs in six straight matches.

- Setter Sydney Lostumo paces the Thundering Herd offense averaging 10.29 assists per set. She ranks second in C-USA and 54th nationally in assists per set.
- The Thundering Herd defense has been solid this season as they rank second in the conference in digs per set with a 16.48 average.
