Raiders Drop Match at #31 Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team dropped their final road match of the season to #31 Memphis, Sunday afternoon, 4-1.
The Blue Raiders fall to 13-7 while the Tigers improve to 9-5.
After dropping the doubles point, Stijn Slump notched the only point on the day for MTSU with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles.
Francisco Rocha and Tom Moonen each fell to top-125 opponents at No. 1 and No. 3 while Memphis also took the victory at No. 5 to clinch the victory.
Chris Edge and Oskar Michalek each won their first set, but both their matches went unfinished.
The Raiders will wrap up the regular season, Friday, when they host Georgia State at 3:30 p.m. at the Adams Tennis complex. It will also be Senior Day as the team will honor Tom Moonen, Max Rauch, and Oskar Michalek.
