Isa Punches Ticket to NCAA Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Middle Tennessee track and field team concluded competition at the NCAA East Preliminary on Saturday. Esther Isa advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the women's high jump. This qualification brought the Blue Raiders total to two event qualifiers on the weekend.
Jumps
In the women's high jump, Esther Isa used a leap of 1.82m to punch her ticket to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.
Akera Benton notched a 12.32m mark, and Esther Isa jumped 12.12m in the women's long jump to conclude their day.
Sprints
Amarachukwu Obi ended her day with a time of 23.49 in the women's 200m.
Relays
The team of Ida Mensah, Cecilia Francis, Agnes Abrocquah, and Amarachukwu Obi ran a 46.00 in the women's 4x100m relay to end their day.
