Blue Raiders host Southern Miss looking for 11th straight home win

MT's current home winning streak is tied for the eighth-longest in program history
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee wraps up a three-game home stand with a matchup against Southern Miss at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Murphy Center. Tipoff has been rescheduled from the original 5 p.m. to accommodate fans wanting to watch both Blue Raider hoops and Kevin Byard's Tennessee Titans on Saturday.
MT looks to continue its winning ways at the Murphy Center, where it is 8-0 this season, has won 10 straight games dating back to last season and owns a four-game Conference USA winning streak. Southern Miss is 1-8 on the road this season.

Middle Tennessee is coming off a pair of vastly different victories at home last week. The Blue Raiders defeated Florida Atlantic 70-57 on January 13, building a lead as large as 28 behind 19 points from Josh Jefferson and 13 from Camryn Weston. Saturday's contest was a defensive battle, as MT outrebounded FIU by 10 in a hard-fought 50-39 victory. Donovan Sims led the way with 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting while Eli Lawrence tied a career high with 10 rebounds.
