Barragan and Yibirin to close out fall slate at the Belmont/Lipscomb Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — With the fall season ending, two Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders travel to Nashville, Tenn. to compete at the Belmont/Lipscomb Invitational on Oct. 28-29.
The tournament format is hidden duals, and matches will be two out of three set with a 10-point match breaker for the third set.
Two freshmen will be in action this weekend for the Blue Raiders: Camila Barragan and Karen Yibirin. This competition will be good test for the two to get more matches to prepare for the spring season. Yibirin has picked up a collegiate win this fall and will hope to add to it this weekend. Barragan is still looking for her first collegiate win.
HEAD COACH TAYO-BAILEY DUVALL
"I am looking forward to closing out the season this weekend, having Camila and Karen finish their first college tennis semester. I think they will do well as we are looking for the mental and emotional growth of both of them. It should be a good weekend."
