Blue Raiders finish Trinity Forest Invitational with under-par round

Four of five players finished the round par or better
DALLAS, Texas — Middle Tennessee men's golf finished the Trinity Forest Invitational with a 6-under performance Tuesday, combining for a total score of 282 on the final day of the event. Kevin Jegers led MTSU with a 68 (-4) in the third round.
Jegers recorded seven birdies in the third round, including on each of his first three holes and five of his first 11. He moved 20 spots up the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 67th at 223 (+7).
Owen Stamper was MTSU's highest individual finisher in the tournament, tying for 32nd at 216 (E). He shot a 72 (E) on Tuesday, recording five birdies in the process.
Carter Maneth ended the tournament in a tie for 39th at 217 (+1). His score of 73 (+1) Tuesday was the one that did not count for toward the Blue Raiders' team score. The Texarkana, Texas, native recorded a pair of birdies and the first eagle of his college career.
Michael Barnard and Gavin Clements each enjoyed their best rounds of the tournament with matching marks of 71 (-1) Tuesday. Baranard finished in a tie for 50th at 219 (+3) after notching five birdies in the third round. Clements carded four birdies of his own, ending play in a tie for 54th at 220 (+4).
