MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Middle Tennessee men's golf and men's tennis have been named recipients of Conference USA's Sport Academic Awards following the 2025-2026 season.
The Sport Academic Award is given to the team in each conference-sponsored sport with the highest GPA for the academic year.
This follows a successful season by both programs. Men's tennis took home a seventh-consecutive CUSA championship while sweeping the league's superlative awards.
Off the court, the Blue Raiders were led by seniors Freddy Murray and Karim Al-Amin, who were both named to the CUSA All-Academic team. Al-Amin was also named the CUSA Scholar Athlete of the Year for his success on the court, in the classroom and in the community.
Men's golf caps off a season that included a CUSA Championship Semifinal berth as a team, and a NCAA regional qualifier in redshirt senior Carter Maneth. To pair with the success on the links, Maneth and redshirt sophomore Connor Henry led the team academically with CUSA All-Academic selections.
