DALLAS – Conference USA on Thursday announced its 2021-22 All-Academic team, with Middle Tennessee's Nick Wolf and Kevin Jegers occupying two of the five spots.
"We're very proud of Nick and Kevin for this honor," head coach Mark McEntire said. "They are two great representatives of our university, and I'm happy that they are being recognized for their accomplishments."
Wolf holds a 3.952 grade point average in his MBA studies. In his first year as a Blue Raider after four standout years at UT Martin, the Murfreesboro native is second on the team with a 71.59 stroke average.
Wolf has recorded a pair of top 10 finishes this season, including a tie for seventh at the Pat Hicks Invitational and a tie for ninth at the Mason Rudolph Championship. He also tied a program record with a 63 in the first round of the JT Poston Invitational.
Jegers carries a 3.750 GPA in information systems. The sophomore from Tallinn, Estonia, has a 72.19 stroke average on the year.
Jegers has finished in the top 10 three times, including back-to-back individual titles to open the spring at the Pat Hicks Invitational and the Loyola Intercollegiate, in which he set and subsequently broke the program 54-hole record.
Wolf, Jegers, and the Blue Raiders are back in action next week at the C-USA Championship, held April 25-28 at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Texas.
