Barnard, Wolf tied heading into final round of Norman Regional

NORMAN, Okla. – Michael Barnard and Nick Wolf are in a tie for 48th place through two rounds in the NCAA Norman Regional. The pair are 6-over at 150 heading into the third and final round of the regional.
"The conditions were very tough this afternoon," head coach Mark McEntire said. "Nick played a great round today. Let's get these guys a good round tomorrow to finish off a great year."
Wolf bounced back from a 77 (+5) in the first round to go 73 (+1) in Tuesday's second round. The Murfreesboro native carded a birdie on hole 5 and an eagle on the par-5 eighth hole Tuesday.
Barnard's performance through the first two rounds has been a mirror image of Wolf's; the Hendersonville, Tenn., native followed a first-round 73 (+1) with a 77 (+5) on Tuesday. A birdie on hole 10 was his only under-par hole of the day.
The top individuals in the field not playing as part of one of the top five teams in the regional through two rounds are Kansas State's Tim Tillmanns, Louisville's Chris Francouer, South Carolina's Evans Lewis and LA Tech's Sam Murphy, who are part of a seven-way tie for eighth at 141 (-3).
Barnard is scheduled to tee off on hole 1 at 10:01 a.m. CT Wednesday. Wolf will begin at 10:12 a.m. on hole 1.
