Maneth in 30th after Day One of Columbus Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Middle Tennessee redshirt senior Carter Maneth carded a 3-over-par 74 in Monday's opening round of the NCAA Columbus Regional at The Ohio State University Golf Club's Scarlett Course.
Maneth made the turn at even par but ran into trouble on the back-nine par 3s to finish the day at 3-over. He sits in a tie for 30th place heading into Tuesday's second round.
Florida's Parker Sands leads the field at 5-under-par, while teammate Jack Turner is second at 2-under. A group of players are tied for third at even par.
The NCAA Columbus Regional continues Tuesday, May 19. Maneth will be paired with Jack Jerge and Ryan Shellberg for Round 2. The trio is scheduled to tee off at 8:42 a.m. CT from Hole 1.
