Tre Green signs with Blue Raiders

MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee head coach Nick McDevitt has announced the addition of Tre Green to the 2022-23 roster. Green joins the Blue Raiders out of Baltimore, Md.
"We are excited to add Tre Green to our basketball program," McDevitt said. "He really fits who we are both on and off the floor. Tre is a young man of high character and a great work ethic. He is going to be a really good player for us."

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Green averaged 23 points, seven rebounds and two assists per game at Glenelg Country School. He shot better than 75 percent from the free throw line, 60 percent from inside the arc and 49 percent from 3-point range, earning All-Conference and All-State honors.
A left-handed shooter, Green has also played travel ball for Team Melo. PrepHoops.com has described him as "a three-level scorer with good size and wiggle off the bounce. He has good instincts with the ball and how to get into his shot from both three and mid-range."

Green will join the Blue Raiders in mid-June after his high school graduation. He earned national academic honors this season to go along with his on-court abilities.
