Blue Raider Baseball Posts 3.3 Fall Semester GPA

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The spring semester at Middle Tennessee will commence next week, but Middle Tennessee Baseball accumulated a robust 3.3 team average GPA during the Fall 2022 semester.
The team's academic success was well-spread across the roster. 23 players—more than half the roster—compiled marks of 3.5 or higher during the fall.
Seven student-athletes maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall term. Gino Avros, Jeremiah Boyd, JT Mabry, Kota Sato, Eston Snider, Brett Vondohlen and Jalen Wirtz all paced the program academically throughout the opening half of the academic year.
MTSU student-athletes will be in class from Jan. 17 to May 4 during the spring semester. Spring commencement is slated for May 6 at the Murphy Center.
The Blue Raiders will open the 2023 season on Feb. 17-19 with VCU, Coastal Carolina and Fairfield in Conway, S.C. The squad's home opener is slated for Feb. 22 against SEMO, with a 3:00 p.m. first pitch.
