Cross Country will travel to Tuscaloosa for Crimson Classic

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's and women's cross country teams will compete in Tuscaloosa, Ala. in the Crimson Classic, the Blue Raiders last meet of the 2023 regular season.

Races begin at 8:30 a.m. CT on Friday, October 13 hosted by Alabama at Harry Pritchett Running Course.

The men's team will start off the morning at 8:30 a.m. in the 8K race, while the women start at 9:20 a.m. in the 5K race.

Following this weekend, the teams will travel to Bowling Green, Ky for the Conference USA Championship on October 28.

The Blue Raider men's cross-country team placed seventh in the team standings Friday morning at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational.

In the men's 8K, Brian Kiptoo continued to impress with another top-five finish.

The Blue Raiders were led by Kiptoo who placed fourth with a time of 23:42.30s and Vincent Yegon in 10th with a time of 23:53.70s
