Blue Raiders to host Faith & Family Night on Tuesday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The MTSU Athletic Department will host the inaugural Faith and Family Night for the Blue Raiders' home football game against Louisiana Tech on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT on the CBS Sports Network.
The purpose of the event is for local places of worship to have an opportunity to outreach in the community in a new and exciting way with the university.
"We're excited to host Faith & Family Night at MTSU Football, which we plan on doing annually moving forward," said James Kentfield, Assistant AD for Ticket Operations. "This is something that we think will grow every year and become an event that local faith communities and families will really enjoy."
Local communities of faith and places of worship can purchase discounted tickets to the CUSA matchup against the Bulldogs Tuesday night. Tickets are just $11 for sideline reserve, which includes a hot dog and a drink ($34 value).
There will be family-friendly events, competitions, and other festivities for everyone including an autograph session in the Family Fun Zone with Blue Raider student-athletes. The Athletic Department will also be recognizing and celebrating faith communities throughout the game.
