Blue Raider’s battle falls short to No. 23 WKU on Friday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team took on No. 23 Western Kentucky on Friday for Senior Day at Alumni Memorial Gym. The Blue Raiders dropped the match in three.
The Blue Raiders (20-8, 11-5 CUSA) fell short to No. 23 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (25-4, 16-0 CUSA) with set scores of 20-25, 25-18, 26-28 and 17-25.
Sophomore Adri Rhoda led the team in kills with 17 on a .424 hitting percentage. Junior Laure Jansen recorded a double-double tallying 11 kills and 14 digs. Graduate student Kaylee Oscarson totaled 10 kills and five total blocks averaging 1.3 per set. Senior Taylor Eisert tallied 44 assists earning 11 per set.
