Men’s tennis travels to Tulane on Sunday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — No. 28-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis is set to face No. 62-ranked Tulane on Sunday, March 5 at 12 p.m. CT in New Orleans.
This will be the second time this season the two programs will face each other. The two battled on Friday, Feb. 24 in the first round of the Blue Gray Championships with MTSU winning 4-3.
The Blue Raiders swept No. 41 Oklahoma 4-0 on Saturday, Feb. 25 to finish third place in the Blue Gray Championships.
Freshman Ondrej Horak is off to an impressive start in singles with a record of 12-1. Pavel Motl and Stijn Slump each have 10 singles wins as well. The doubles pairing of Motl and Slump are 11-1 on court No. 2.
Match 17: Middle Tennessee (12-4, 1-0 C-USA) vs. Tulane (4-5, 0-0 AAC)

- Friday's matchup will be the 18th meeting between MTSU and Tulane. The Green Wave lead the series 10-7. This will be the second meeting between the two programs just this season.
- Coach Borendame is 2-0 against the Green Wave.
Scouting the Green Wave
- Tulane is 3-5 on the season and is ranked No. 62 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
- The Green Wave return all eight players from last year's squad. The returners combined for 45 singles wins and 42 doubles wins last season. Junior Fynn Kuenkler is ranked No. 74 by the ITA.
