Blue Raiders fall to Wake Forest on Sunday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Middle Tennessee women's tennis battled but fell in Sunday's match 4-2 at No. 29 Wake Forest.
The Demon Deacons took the doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 and 3. The match at No. 2 featuring Noelle Mauro and Lilly-Sophie Schmidt went unfinished.
Muskan Gupta rolled at No. 3 for the Blue Raiders in singles, winning 6-4, 6-0. Mauro added another point for MTSU with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 5. Wake Forest took singles matches on courts No. 2, 4 and 6.
Love-Star Alexis shined in singles play, leading No. 49 Anna Brylin, 6-4, 6-5, but that match was not finished.
