MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Five Middle Tennessee Baseball student-athletes have earned Conference USA All-Conference accolades.
RHP Jaden Hamm and SS Brett Coker each made the All-Conference First Team.
Meanwhile, RHP Patrick Johnson, RHP Ollie Akens and C/OF/UTL Jared Vetetoe all earn spot on the All-Freshman team. MTSU leads C-USA in All-Freshman team members with three.
Hamm is one of four starting pitchers to make the first team. The Culleoka, Tenn. native is tied for first on the team with five wins. The junior tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout on March 10 against Evansville.
Coker is the squad's leading hitter, with a .346 average overall and a .363 mark in C-USA, good for fourth-best in the league.
Johnson and Akens were both vital this season as pitchers, with the pair combining for 10 starts and 33 total appearances in the regular season.
Vetetoe meanwhile was an instrumental piece for the Blue Raiders both behind the plate and in the outfield as a redshirt freshman.
