Jeremiah Boyd Named to Academic All-America Second Team

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Baseball's Jeremiah Boyd was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Second Team on Wednesday.
A 4.0 graduate student in the Sports Management postgraduate program at MTSU, Boyd was named to the second team in the designated hitter spot.
The native of Harrisburg, N.C. played and started in 55 games this season, catching in eight.
A transfer from Presbyterian College, Boyd led the team with 13 home runs and a .903 OPS. He was also fifth in batting average with a .295 clip.
Boyd was named to the Conference USA All-Academic team at the conclusion of the regular season.
He is the first Blue Raider to earn a spot on a Academic All-America team since Aaron Aucker in 2018.
